AIA relies on facilities available to our membership in order to secure contest space for the competitive season. Contest Host applications will be accepted prior to each season and the schedule will be evaluated and created at the Annual Fall Meeting by the Executive Board.

Note: To host a contest, you must be a current AIA Member and have been an active member in good standing the year prior.

The AIA Contest is one of the most significant events of the indoor pageantry season. Many units will experience AIA or the indoor activity in general for the first time in this setting. Parents, boosters, sponsors, school administrators and fans will form their first impression of this organization which can have a lasting impact on their future participation. The professionalism with which it is run is paramount.

Extensive information is available in the AIA Contest Sponsor Handbook for those units considering application as a Show Host. Prior to submitting an application, this document should be reviewed in whole to ensure that you are willing and able to fully meet the requirements needed.

NOTE: The 2012 deposit and application fee is $1000. This fee is refundable and will be applied to the final contest invoice if selected.
