Members registering for their membership after Jan. 1, 2009 will note a $50 increase in the membership fee. This fee is applied to all memberships received after Jan. 1, 2009. For a list of event registration deadlines, please click more.
The Percussion Season launches this year with a Judges Training Clinic on Saturday, January 17 at Powhatan High School. Clinicians Jay McArthur and Mike Mcintosh will explain judging criteria and offer sessions on show design. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is one of those iconic American traditions along with baseball and apple pie. Any parade wouldn’t be complete without marching bands, and Macy’s knows how important this component is. Nearly eighteen months ago, West Johnston High School’s marching band was notified that they would be performing in the 2008 line up through NYC ending with a performance in Herald Square. This is no small accomplishment for an organization that has only been in existence for seven short years.
