2010 Scholarship

 2010 Scholarship Application and Criteria

The Atlantic Indoor Association awards performers on an annual basis for both academic and extra curricular achievements.  The award criteria are based upon academic excellence, school and community involvement, a letter of recommendation, and an essay explaining how your performance ensemble has enriched your life.

The award may be used to fund a variety of post-secondary activities including two and four year Colleges and vocational programs.  The scholarship committee will review the applications, make recommendations to the executive board, and honors will be announced during the awards ceremonies at AIA Circuit Championships.

The AIA 1st Vice President will remit funds to the scholarship awardees’ educational institution of choice by January 15, 2011. A request for payment information will be distributed in December 2010.

Applications must be complete and postmarked by March 13, 2010. Applicants should show an accumulated GPA of no less than 3.0 to be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered for the award.

Please have your answer to the essay question typed and ready to upload before submitting your application. Essays should be saved with one of the following extensions: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .rtf, .txt.
