The AIA Caucus Meeting will be held Sunday, July 1 from 1PM to 4PM at Colonial Heights High School.
The Atlantic Indoor Association awards performers on an annual basis for both academic and extra curricular achievements. The award criteria are based upon academic excellence, school and community involvement, a letter of recommendation, and an essay explaining how your performance ensemble has enriched your life.
The award may be used to fund a variety of post-secondary activities including two and four year Colleges and vocational programs. The scholarship committee will review the applications, make recommendations to the executive board, and honors will be announced during the awards ceremonies at AIA Circuit Championships. AIA will remit funds to the scholarship awardees’ educational institution of choice by January 15 of the following calendar year. A request for payment information will be distributed in December each year. Applications must be complete and postmarked by the scholarship deadline. Applicants should show an accumulated GPA of no less than 3.0 to be considered. Incomplete applications will not be considered for the award. Please have your answer to the essay question typed and ready to upload before submitting your application. Essays should be saved with one of the following extensions: .pdf, .doc, .docx, .rtf, .txt.
